Ovarian cancer is a malignant ovarian disease with a very aggressive course. It is a very dangerous disease. In case of confirming the diagnosis, a large-scale surgical operation is crucial. In the case of ovarian cancer, it is imperative that the uterus is removed from the ovary, and the removal of the mesentery, pelvis and para-aortic lymph nodes must be taken out. The most important factor in treating these patients is to achieve a condition in which the abdominal cavity no longer has a residual tumor. Otherwise, tumor recovery is expected within 1-2 years after completion of chemotherapy.
In the case of ovarian cancer, the following symptoms are typical:
- Pain in the lower abdomen
- Pain in the middle of the abdomen
- Urinary urgency
- Frequent urination
- Abdominal enlargement
- Abdominal bloating
- Eating disorders (any disorder, burning, bad digestion that has occurred in the last year, months)
- Feeling of satiety while eating, faster than usually.
You may suspect to have an ovarian cancer if any of these symptoms repeats for at least 12 days a month and has occurred within the last 12 months.
