Information on the procedure for providing persons with functional disorders with access to health care services.

In accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 60 of January 20, 2009 "Regulations on Minimum Requirements for Medical Institutions and their Structural Units" (amendments to Regulations No. 1463 of 10 December 2013), the procedure for providing health care services for persons with functional disorders :

  1. Provision is made for persons with functional disorders to receive all health care provided in accordance with approved medical technologies.
  2. Additional information is available by contacting the telephone number of the registrar of the Jurmala Hospital, personally calling the doctor, obtaining information from the website of the Jurmala Hospital.
  3. If the patient or visitor needs additional support in order to enter the health facility and / or go to the doctor's office, support can be obtained at the Jurmala Hospital NMP.
  4. The physician, in providing services to patients with functional impairment, adheres to the following conditions:

4.1. Supporting a person with functional impairments, if necessary, attracting patients' relatives or using auxiliary equipment, may, as far as possible, be used for the relocation of patients and the convenience of receiving services.

4.3. Communication with people with hearing impairment is provided through visual information or correspondence, close relatives of the patient, or by specially trained supporters of the association "Latvian Deaf Union".
